A small place. " When you sit down to taste that delicious food, it will be better for you to ignore that most of that food you are eating has been brought from Miami by plane. And before they loaded those products in Miami, who knows where they came from. We may suppose they originally came from a place like Antigua, where they were grown to their balance price, before being brought to Miami and then to Antigua again."
This is a short novel but of great importance; a criticism to the new colonization which certain kinds of tourism imply. From the voice of the lower-class and by means of a free prose, direct and without any complexes, the authoress makes a sketch of Antigua, country where she was born, grew and learnt to hate all which was related to the English colonists, except for its literature. A small place has been released in the cinema with the title Life and debt and was awarded the Special Prize of Los Angeles Criticism.
