Why do Basque women fight?
The Basque Country is the oldest one in Europe. However, its political and juridical recognition has not been achieved yet. Basque people, tenacious with their claims for ages, have taken part in many of the news recently. Some of them have to do with repressive subjects and torture, others with armed actions, massive demonstrations in favour of its millenary language, expressions of its organization peculiarities… all of them evidences of its vitality.
The Basque Country, at the beginning of the 21st century is one of the most dynamic ones in Europe although many of its causes are not known neither by its neighbours nor by other further countries. This book is a good chance to know the reason of its fight.
