This book is the chronicle of the 40 day journey which the journalist Jon Abril and the photographer Asier Gogortza made through China. These two friends reconciled their holidays and jobs; doing reports and interviews and knowing the culture in that place.Both of them travelled through Beijing, Shangai, Guilin, Yangshuo, Langsheng, Kaili, Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Luhoshui, Chengdu, Xian and through other many towns and what they found and saw there is collected in these pages: big towns, cattle-raising regions, different kind of people, the beauty of landscape, the weather, the projects which the Basque enterprises have in the Chinese market, the matriarchies, the Chinese “ bertsolaris” ( people who sing poems without preparing them beforehand but in the moment of singing them), cultures of different kinds and the lifestyle which is so important for us.
