In the last years, some TV shows have had great success in the society and in wide cultural circles. The changes that have affected the audiovisual have brought to the television new and innovative ways of telling, or classical models may have gone to the TV that has had such a bad reputation for years.
What is The Wire, but the Greek tragedy of beings dominated by the incomprehensible greatness? Who is the misanthropist Gregory House, but the old Sherlock Holmes? Where does Fleischman, the Northern Exposure’s physician, live, but in the Macondo called Cicely? Is Band of Brothers the Iliad? On the pretext of television series, six Basque creators told us their reflections on literature, society, aesthetics, history and many other issues.
