Historias del Paraíso

This first book by Xavi Sarria, singer and guitarist for the Valencian group Obrint Pas, is composed of 22 short stories that offer a realistic portrayal of the world surrounding us, not without humour, and sometimes, a certain surreal charge. With a lively pace and straight language, made of short and direct sentences, small stories related here are intended as a critique of Western society and a reflection of the feelings and sensations -fear, silence, boredom, hunger, hope, illusion...- that the thousands of forgotten realities of our world feel.
